Fall from roof under investigation

Police, in cooperation with the Department of Labour Inspection, are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious workplace accident in Paphos on Wednesday (18/02).

A 21-year-old man fell approximately 11 metres from the roof of a building while working. The exact conditions leading to the fall remain under investigation.

Victim transferred to hospital

The man was transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital for medical treatment. According to hospital information provided to police, he sustained head injuries and is in critical condition.

Scene examined by authorities

Police officers visited the scene to conduct examinations as part of the ongoing investigation. The incident highlights ongoing workplace safety concerns and the need for strict adherence to safety regulations.
