A serious crash occurred late on Monday night, when a vehicle overturned and came to rest in the middle of the Limassol–Alassa road.
According to RoadReportCY, the collision happened at around 9:47 pm on 20 July 2026.
A blue hatchback overturned during the incident and came to rest on its roof, partially blocking the roadway. Images from the scene show the vehicle sustained extensive damage consistent with a rollover following a traffic collision.
Video captures aftermath
The incident was recorded by a passing motorist, with video footage showing the immediate aftermath of the crash.
A second vehicle can also be seen in the footage. It appears to have been involved in, or connected to, the collision and sustained visible damage to its side panels.
No information on injuries
No official information has yet been released regarding injuries or the circumstances that led to the collision.
Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the crash.
