The electronic application period for the Housing Grant Scheme for young couples and/or individuals up to the age of 41 will conclude on 31 December 2024. The scheme provides financial assistance to 400 beneficiaries, with a total budget of €15 million.
So far, 163 valid applications have been submitted for evaluation, while public interest in the continuation of the scheme remains high. As a result, under the direction of the Minister of the Interior, the scheme will be reannounced in a revised form in January 2025. Modifications to the criteria will be adopted based on feedback received from citizens and other organised groups or entities.
Upon the reannouncement of the scheme, the electronic platform www.housing.moi.gov.cy, through which applications are submitted, will remain operational until the total number of beneficiaries is reached.
