A hay bale fire in Aradippou destroyed 70 bales of hay on Wednesday afternoon, with police now investigating the cause.
According to a police statement, the fire broke out around 2:45pm on 27 August at a shelter in the Aradippou area, belonging to two men aged 58 and 49.
Firefighters arrived quickly and extinguished the flames. However, 70 hay bales were completely burned. Officers from the police also examined the scene to collect evidence.
The hay bale fire in Aradippou is being investigated by the local police station to determine the exact circumstances under which it started.
