Arrest warrant issued for 68-year-old over Aradippou fatal crash

Police issued an arrest warrant against a 68-year-old driver following the Aradippou fatal crash that occurred on Sunday evening in the Larnaca district. The suspect is currently hospitalised at Larnaca General Hospital after being injured in the collision.

Victim identified

The fatal road collision happened at around 19:30 on Ellados Avenue in Aradippou.
The victim was identified as Nikos Nikolaou, 52, from Dromolaxia, who died as a result of the crash.

Investigation ongoing

Authorities said the arrest warrant was issued as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances of the collision. Police are continuing examinations at the scene and collecting evidence to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Officials have not ruled out further legal action once the investigation is completed.
