Paphos crash leaves 30-year-old in critical condition

A crash in Paphos in the early hours of Friday has left a 30-year-old man in critical condition and intubated at Nicosia General Hospital.

The incident occurred at around 1am on Agapinoros Street in Geroskipou. Under circumstances still under investigation, the driver lost control of his vehicle, which then struck a pole, veered into a neighbouring field and overturned.

Transferred to Nicosia due to severity of injuries

The 30-year-old, a resident of Paphos, was initially taken to Paphos General Hospital. Due to the critical nature of his condition, he was later transferred to Nicosia General Hospital for specialised treatment.

Police say the causes of the Paphos crash are being investigated by the Paphos Traffic Department.
