Police received information shortly after midnight about a fire involving a company-owned car parked outside the home of a 62-year-old man in Limassol.
Members of the Limassol Police Division and the Fire Service attended the scene.
The vehicle owner extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived, using a fire extinguisher.
The fire caused minor damage to the car’s front left tyre.
Preliminary examinations indicate that the Limassol car fire was deliberately started.
The scene remains cordoned off, while further investigations are expected to take place during the day.
