A new accommodation and wellness project is being developed in Agios Mamas, around 20 minutes from Limassol, in a mountain location offering views towards the Troodos range.
The Iglu Retreat aims to create a private escape for visitors seeking nature, relaxation and an alternative stay away from the usual accommodation options.
Unique igloo-style residences
At the heart of the project are a series of boutique residences featuring curved designs and a contemporary aesthetic. The igloo-style structures have been selected to offer something different for the Cypriot countryside while combining modern comfort with the surrounding natural environment.
The location is one of the project’s main features, with the residences surrounded by nature and overlooking Troodos. The concept is designed to make the stay an experience rather than simply an overnight visit.
A retreat focused on wellness
The project will include a small, private hospitality space with boutique residences and its own sauna. The natural setting is intended to provide opportunities for both relaxation and wellness activities.
Iglu Retreat is designed for couples and families, while also catering to smaller groups and organised wellness activities. These could include weekend WOD groups, yoga sessions, breathing therapies, Pilates, fitness activities and retreats.
The concept combines accommodation, exercise and wellness in a natural mountain setting.
A year-round mountain escape
The project is intended to offer a different type of getaway throughout the year, from short weekend breaks to longer stays focused on relaxation and time in nature.
The owners describe the location as suited to visitors looking to disconnect from everyday routines and spend time in a quieter environment.
The Iglu Retreat is currently under development, with the project progressing towards the creation of a distinctive mountain retreat in Cyprus.
