A post-mortem examination has been carried out on a 63-year-old diver from the United Kingdom who died on Saturday while diving in the Pernera area of Ayia Napa.
The examination was conducted by forensic pathologist Nikolas Charalambous.
The exact cause of death is expected to be established after the necessary laboratory tests are completed.
The 63-year-old reportedly became unwell during the dive. Despite efforts to provide first aid, he died at Famagusta General Hospital.
