High pressure affects the area today with occasional increased mid and high clouds. Winds blow northeast to southeast, light to moderate at 3-4 Beaufort, locally moderate at 4 Beaufort. Sea remains calm to slightly rough.

Temperatures reach 20°C inland, around 21°C on coasts, and 15°C at higher mountains. Tonight stays partly cloudy with northeast to east winds at 3-4 Beaufort and sea slightly rough. Lows hit 9°C inland, 12°C coasts, and 8°C higher mountains.

Thursday rain and snow

Thursday sees occasional increased mid and high clouds. Evening brings local rain and isolated storms starting west, spreading island-wide. Snow or sleet expected on Troodos higher peaks, with gradually strengthening local very strong winds.

Dust lingers in atmosphere until Thursday evening.

Friday-Saturday forecast

Friday features local rain, isolated storms, very strong to gale-force winds, and snow on higher mountains. Saturday stays partly cloudy with local rain and mountain snow.

Temperatures hold above seasonal averages Thursday, drop noticeably Friday, then rise slightly Saturday to near normal levels.
