An unspeakable tragedy has occurred as an 11-year-old child has passed away at Makarios Hospital.
According to initial reports, the child had been admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after being diagnosed with Type B Influenza. Further information indicates that arrangements had been made for an air transfer to Israel; however, this could not take place in time.
