Child falls from skyscraper in tragic Limassol incident

A tragic incident unfolded in Limassol on Wednesday evening when a child fell from a skyscraper, losing their life.

According to the Police, a call was received around 7:00 p.m. reporting the fall of a minor from a high-rise building along Limassol’s coastal area. Authorities immediately responded, sealing off the scene to conduct investigations into the circumstances of the incident.

Emergency services, including police officers and an ambulance, arrived swiftly. As daylight broke, examinations at the scene continued, with authorities exploring all possible scenarios.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today to determine the exact cause of death.

Speaking to the media, the Police confirmed that investigations are ongoing but refrained from providing further details due to the sensitive nature of the case.
