Hail is possible in areas affected by thunderstorms.
Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming temporarily strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort in windward coastal areas during the afternoon. The sea will be slight.
Temperatures are expected to reach 33C inland, around 28C along the coast and 25C in the higher mountains.
Patchy fog possible overnight
Tonight, the weather will remain mainly clear, although periods of increased low cloud are expected. Patchy mist or fog may also form in some areas.
Winds will remain mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at around 3 Beaufort, while the sea will be calm to slight.
Temperatures will fall to around 20C inland and along the coast, and 16C in the higher mountains.
Unsettled conditions continue into the weekend
The weather forecast for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday indicates periods of increased cloud cover, which are expected to produce isolated showers or thunderstorms after midday, mainly in mountainous and inland areas.
Hail remains possible in any thunderstorm activity.
