Residents and beachgoers in Limassol have raised concerns over possible sea pollution, following reports of suspected wastewater discharges reaching the coastline through a pipe located along the city’s seafront.
Photographs obtained by SigmaLive show a pipe discharging onto the beach, while stagnant water and accumulations of organic matter can be seen in the area before flowing into the sea.
