Two incidents reported involving fake police officer demanding on-the-spot fine payments

Cyprus Police are investigating two suspected fraud cases involving elderly residents in Kalo Chorio, Larnaca, after a man allegedly posing as a police officer obtained a total of €55 from them.

According to Larnaca Police spokesperson Spyros Chrysostomou, the suspect reportedly obtained €50 in one incident and €5 in the other.

Police are currently attempting to locate the two complainants as part of their investigation.

Authorities are also examining whether the suspect could be the same individual allegedly involved in similar offences recently reported in Nicosia.
