Donald Trump, speaking in the White House Rose Garden about the war in Ukraine, said: “It’s not easy, but I believe we’ll get it done.”
The US President attended the garden for a traditional Thanksgiving event. Returning to the subject of Ukraine, he added: “I think we’re getting very close to an agreement — we’ll see.”
He repeated earlier claims about ending several conflicts around the world and said he had expected stopping Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to be easier than it has proved.
