A section of Tseriou Street in Strovolos will temporarily operate as a one-way road from Monday, 21 September, the Strovolos Municipality has announced.
The temporary one-way arrangement will cover the section of Tseriou Street from the traffic-light-controlled junction with Constantinoupoleos Street to the junction with Charalambou Pettemeridi Street.
Traffic will move from Constantinoupoleos Street towards central Strovolos, in the direction of Rodopis Street and Strovolou Avenue.
Alternative routes available
Drivers can use alternative routes through Charalambou Pettemeridi, Kantara, Patriarchi Grigoriou E, Eleni Chr. Loizou and Makedonias streets, as well as Strovolou Avenue.
The municipality has called on the public to follow the road signs in place and consult the relevant traffic map.
The temporary one-way arrangement will remain in effect until Sunday, 10 January 2027.
The municipality said measures and traffic arrangements have been put in place to minimise disruption.
