Student attacks teacher in Larnaca gymnasium

Date:

A new violence incident erupted at a Larnaca Gymnasium. A student assaulted a teacher.

Loizos Konstantinou, President of the Secondary Education Parents’ Associations Federation, confirmed procedures follow regulations. “We won’t even examine if he had right or wrong to react – reaction isn’t assaulting anyone, let alone an educator.”

He added: “We reached the point of violence. I contacted OELMEK President today, conveying our sympathy. I condemn all violence forms. Teachers face complaints from students or parents, but never physical attacks.”
