Security alert in Nicosia after threatening emails sent to Mall of Nicosia and KEMA

Authorities were placed on high alert on Saturday afternoon after threatening emails were received concerning the Mall of Nicosia and KEMA in Nicosia.

Police responded immediately and launched an investigation, while precautionary security measures were implemented at both locations.

A strong police presence remains in place at the two sites.

No further details have been released regarding the content of the threatening emails, and police investigations are ongoing.
