Fault hits early morning supply

A power outage in Aradippou affected several areas in the district after a fault in the medium-voltage network early on Monday morning.

According to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) spokesperson, Christina Papadopoulou, the issue occurred around five minutes past 5:00am, disrupting electricity supply to multiple locations.

Crews working to restore electricity

Papadopoulou said a technical crew is already on site to locate and isolate the fault. This will allow alternative supply routes to restore power to affected areas.

The Aradippou power outage is expected to be resolved by 11:00am. However, officials noted that electricity may be restored earlier depending on progress.
