The post-mortem on the 26-year-old victim who was stabbed on Wednesday night outside a kiosk in Konia, Paphos District, was caused by a severe injury to the right carotid artery from a sharp instrument. Government forensic pathologist Dr Nikos Charalambous led the examination on Saturday afternoon at Nicosia General Hospital. Private pathologist Dr Marios Matsakis attended on behalf of the family throughout the procedure, which lasted between 14:50 pm and 17:50 pm.
