Police arrest two men in Larnaca during a routine patrol in the early hours of Friday morning. Members of the Larnaca Crime Prevention Unit (OPE) stopped a vehicle while on motorised patrol in the Larnaca district and discovered potential burglary tools.
The vehicle, driven by a 27-year-old man with a 33-year-old passenger, was searched following the stop. During the search, officers found various burglary tools and a number of valuables of unknown value inside the car.
Both individuals were arrested and were taken into custody. They are expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court later today, where police will request a remand order.
