Paphos: 31-year-old hospitalised after knife attack, 30-year-old wanted

Police are investigating a knife attack in Paphos after a 31-year-old man was injured during an alleged stabbing incident on Wednesday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 8:30 am when a 30-year-old man visited the victim’s residence.

Investigation underway

Under circumstances that remain under investigation, the suspect allegedly attacked the 31-year-old with a knife, causing injuries to his neck.

The victim was taken to the General Hospital for medical treatment.

According to available information, his condition is not considered life-threatening.

Suspect being sought

Police officers rushed to the scene and launched investigations into the circumstances and motives surrounding the incident.

Authorities said the 30-year-old suspect is currently being sought as investigations continue.

The case remains under examination by police in Paphos.
