MFA calls for utmost restraint and protection of civilians in Syria

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for utmost restraint, respect of international law and protection of civilians in Syria, with a post on X.

“We are closely following developments in Syria,” the Ministry notes.

“We have persistently supported full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2254,” it adds.

“We call for utmost restraint and that IHL is fully respected, especially as regards civilians, including minority groups,” it concludes.
