Date:

By order of the Hellenic Police (EL.AS), the “Panepistimio” Metro station will close at 9:00 am tomorrow, Friday, 6 December. The “Monastiraki” station (Lines 1 & 3) will close at 11:00 am and remain closed until 3:00 pm, and again from 5:00 pm onward. Trains will pass through these stations without stopping.

These emergency adjustments are being implemented due to gatherings and marches marking 16 years since the killing of Alexandros Grigoropoulos.

The stations will reopen upon further instructions from EL.AS, according to an announcement from STASY.
