Medical services are preparing to deal with seasonal infections expected to increase in the coming period.
According to a report by Phileleftheros, 16 children are currently being treated at the Paediatric Clinic of Makarios Hospital, with half suffering from viral or bacterial infections.
Paediatric Clinic Director Elena Papamichael said the situation is currently under control.
Medical services remain on alert as seasonal infections are expected to become more prevalent in the coming weeks.
