Man arrested in Cyprus on European arrest warrant

A man was arrested upon his arrival in Cyprus, as a European arrest warrant had been issued against him.

According to the Police, the man was located and detained at Larnaca Airport. The warrant was issued by another European country in connection with serious offences.

He was taken into custody and is expected to appear in court, where proceedings related to his extradition will begin.

Authorities have not provided further information about the suspect’s identity or the country that issued the warrant.
