Livestock farmers block Veterinary Services entrance with trucks

Farmers gathered outside the Veterinary Services headquarters in Nicosia on Wednesday morning, blocking the entrance to the building with trucks in protest over delayed payments.

According to Sigma reporter Elena Louka, the demonstrators parked their vehicles at the entrance, disrupting access to the premises.

Protest over unpaid dues

The protest centres on the alleged failure to receive payments that are due to livestock breeders.

The demonstrators are demanding the immediate settlement of the outstanding amounts, expressing frustration over the delays.

No further information has been released on the duration of the protest or whether discussions with the authorities are under way.
