A road traffic accident occurred on Sunday morning in Larnaca on the road leading towards Limassol, near the Fire Station.
According to initial reports, the driver of a vehicle crashed into a tree. The driver then allegedly reversed the vehicle and left the scene, moving away from the area.
Police later located the vehicle locked when officers arrived at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation, while no injuries have been reported so far.
Police investigations are ongoing.
