According to the complaint made by the victim, the incident took place on Monday when he met three men in the district, two of whom he knew. The two men are aged 32 and 42.

The 65-year-old alleged that during the meeting, the 42-year-old assaulted him before stealing €300 in cash, his mobile phone and the keys to his vehicle.

The complainant further told police that the three men then forced him into a car driven by the third suspect, whose identity was initially unknown, and drove him to premises he owns in a village in Larnaca district.
