Influenza A claims three lives as hospital occupancy hits 90%

Hospital occupancy has surpassed 90%, with patients being treated for cases of COVID-19, influenza, and seasonal infections.

Yesterday, the first death of a patient from Influenza A was announced. The patient had underlying health conditions.

The deceased was a 43-year-old man who had been intubated in the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital.

According to Phileleftheros newspaper, two additional fatalities have occurred—a 85-year-old and a 75-year-old, both of whom also had underlying health conditions.

No official announcement has yet been made regarding these two cases.
