The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas accused the United States on Tuesday of being complicit in the “genocidal war” waged by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip. This statement came on the same day that Washington announced it had concluded that Israel is not violating US humanitarian aid laws. In its statement, Hamas condemned “Washington’s claims” that Israel “is taking measures to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza,” calling it “confirmation of the Biden administration’s absolute complicity in the barbaric genocidal war against our people.”
