A 43-year-old foreign man of Arab origin died in a construction accident in Lakatamia on Wednesday morning.
Police reported that the man appeared to have fallen from a significant height while working on the site.
Investigations underway
Authorities from the Police and the Labour Inspection Department examined the scene to determine whether safety regulations were followed.
The autopsy on the man’s body will confirm the exact cause of death. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
