Five arrested in Larnaca clash, four suspects still at large

Police handcuffed five individuals linked to a clash in Larnaca, involving axes and gunfire outside a station on Saturday.

According to an official statement, the five wanted persons were arrested in connection with the 17 January 2026 incident.

Court appearance set for Tuesday

The suspects – a 25-year-old (three individuals), a 26-year-old, and a 31-year-old – will appear in court today, Tuesday 20 January, for a remand request.

The Larnaca Police continues to investigate the case, which involved shots fired during the brawl.

Four more still at large

Police announced the Larnaca clash on 19 January, noting that four other persons remain wanted in relation to the same incident.

Publication of details for the arrested individuals has ceased following their detention.
