A fire broke out on Thursday morning in the Arsos area of Limassol district, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.
Firefighters from the Fire Service and personnel from the Department of Forests are at the scene, working to bring the Arsos fire under control.

Videos shared by Giorgos Neokleous capture firefighters as they battle the flames in an effort to contain the blaze.
No information has yet been released regarding the cause of the fire or the extent of the affected area.
Earlier blaze extinguished
According to available information, another fire had broken out shortly beforehand in Agios Ioannis Malountas. Firefighters managed to extinguish that blaze.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation as firefighting operations remain underway at the Arsos fire.
