Victim dies after days in critical condition

A 21-year-old man has died following a crash in Limassol, after being hospitalised in critical condition since a road collision on April 24.

According to police, Angelos Kombos succumbed to his injuries at around 10:35pm on Monday night while receiving treatment at a medical facility in Limassol.

Motorcycle collision under investigation

The crash occurred on Georgiou I Avenue in Limassol, when the victim was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle driven by a 23-year-old.

Under circumstances still under investigation, the motorcycle collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old.

Authorities noted that neither of the two individuals on the motorcycle were wearing protective helmets at the time of the crash.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
