Cyprus Referees Association condemns attack

The Cyprus Referees Association strongly condemned a malicious act targeting an active futsal referee and member following a gym explosion in Nicosia on the night of March 14, 2026. The blast occurred outside a private business, specifically a gym in Nicosia.

Explosion causes property damage

The explosion took place outside a gym owned by a 35-year-old and a 39-year-old. It damaged the building’s glass showcase and caused minor damage to a car belonging to a 29-year-old woman, which was parked nearby.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible for the Nicosia gym explosion.
