Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 near Falasarna, Crete

Date:

An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded at 06:55, approximately 290 km south of Athens.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicentre of the tremor was located in the sea area about 45 km west-southwest of Falasarna.
