Early morning fire breaks out in Inia, Paphos

A fire broke out early this morning in Paphos, in the Inia area.

According to the Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, today, Monday 21 July 2025, at 08:15, a wildfire erupted within the boundaries of the Inia community in the Paphos district, specifically in the Kokkinokampos area.

Thanks to the immediate response of firefighting forces, the blaze was brought fully under control by 08:40, after burning a small area covered with wild vegetation and dry grass.

The firefighting operation involved 8 personnel from the Department of Forests with 2 fire engines, and 2 personnel from the Game and Fauna Service with 1 fire engine.

The causes of the fire are under investigation.
