Cyclist killed in Limassol crash – Driver arrested

A 34-year-old cyclist was killed in a fatal road accident on Holy Wednesday night in Limassol.


The crash occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on Paphos Street, when a car driven by a 38-year-old man collided with the bicycle under unknown circumstances.


The cyclist was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.


Police arrested the driver under a court warrant to assist with the investigation.
