The Customs Department has confiscated nearly 9,000 bottles of counterfeit vodka bearing a well-known brand name following searches at five premises over the past two days.
On 4 December 2025, officers from the Investigations and Anti-Illicit Trade Section of Customs Headquarters carried out a new search at a fifth warehouse belonging to the same owner. They located and seized an additional 7,866 one-litre bottles that also suspected of infringing the trademark of the famous brand.
The total quantity seized now stands at almost 9,000 bottles.
The investigation by the Customs Department is ongoing.
