Crash on Nicosia–Palaichori road under investigation
A Nicosia road accident occurred early Tuesday morning in the Nicosia district, causing traffic congestion near the Ergates Industrial Area.
According to Police, at around 7:30 a.m., under circumstances that are still under investigation, a concrete mixer collided with a private vehicle on the Nicosia–Palaichori road, at the height of the Ergates Industrial Area.
No serious injuries reported
Members of the Traffic Police rushed to the scene to carry out examinations and regulate traffic in the area following the Nicosia road accident.
No serious injuries were reported as a result of the collision. However, the incident caused increased traffic and congestion on the road during the morning rush hour.
