The wedding of Fidias Panayiotou and Styliana Averkiou on Thursday, April 30, at the Russian Orthodox Church attracted major public attention. Among the guests was a parliamentary candidate from the party of Dimitris Baros, who revealed the contents of the envelope he gave to the couple.
Specifically, he included a letter that read:
“My brother, I decided not to put money in your wedding envelope, because the real money is inside the envelope photos. In the end, only these will remain. Frozen experiences captured on paper. That’s why I wish for you to create many more together. I wish your life to be an extreme adventure, an incredible movie. With many little Fidias running around the house breaking things.
