Ayia Napa: €2,900 stolen from vehicle in hotel parking area

Police in the Famagusta district are investigating a theft case in Ayia Napa after a 33-year-old man reported that money and personal items worth approximately €2,900 were stolen from his vehicle.

According to the complaint, the incident took place between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Monday.

The vehicle was parked in an open-air parking area of a hotel in the Famagusta district when unknown individuals allegedly broke in and stole cash and personal belongings.

The total value of the stolen items is estimated at around €2,900, according to the complainant.

Police have not yet released details on the exact items taken as investigations continue.

Authorities are examining the circumstances surrounding the theft and gathering evidence in an effort to identify those responsible.

No arrests have been made so far, and inquiries are ongoing.
