Police are investigating a suspected shooting attack in Nicosia after a man reported that unknown individuals fired shots at his vehicle while he was driving in the capital.
The incident was reported to authorities, who are treating the case as an attempted murder investigation.
Members of the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) and the Police Headquarters Criminal Investigation Service carried out examinations at the scene and on the vehicle driven by the complainant.
Evidence was collected and will be sent for scientific and laboratory analysis.
Police said holes were found on the vehicle that appear to have been caused by gunfire.
