In the early hours of this morning, a fire broke out in Makedonitissa, Nicosia, engulfing two vehicles in flames. The fire is believed to have started in a car owned by a 44-year-old man and spread to a nearby vehicle owned by a 48-year-old man. Both vehicles were completely destroyed.
A third car, owned by an 83-year-old woman, sustained minor damage as well.
Initial investigations indicate that the fire in the first vehicle was set deliberately. Authorities have cordoned off the area, and the investigation is ongoing.
