The weather forecast points to mainly clear skies at first on Wednesday, before locally partly cloudy conditions develop. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains, inland areas and possibly the southeast.
Winds will initially be variable and light at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.
Temperatures will reach around 28C inland and along the coast, while temperatures at the highest mountain areas will reach 18C.
Clearer conditions overnight
Tonight will be mainly clear, although locally increased cloud will develop. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, while along the northern coast they will be southeasterly, light at 3 Beaufort.
The sea will remain calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will fall to 16C inland, around 18C on the coast and 9C in the highest mountain areas.
Weather outlook through Saturday
An unstable air mass will continue to affect the area intermittently.
On Thursday, conditions will initially be mainly clear, but increased cloud will gradually develop and may produce isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.
Friday and Saturday will be mainly clear, with locally increased cloud at times. The weather forecast indicates that temperatures will gradually rise, reaching levels close to the seasonal average.
