Sir Stelios Hadjioannou is launching the fourth edition of the Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus, with €200,000 in cash prizes for three winning business ideas.
The competition, organised through the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, aims to support young entrepreneurs in Cyprus and help them develop innovative ideas into sustainable businesses.
€200,000 in prizes
The three winners will receive:
- First prize: €100,000
- Second prize: €60,000
- Third prize: €40,000
The awards have become an established initiative supporting young entrepreneurship in Cyprus, following the previous editions and similar awards held in Greece since 2008.
Who can apply
The Stelios Awards Cyprus 2026 are open to entrepreneurs under the age of 34 who:
- have established a company in the Republic of Cyprus within the past five years;
- have annual turnover of at least €40,000; and
- are of any nationality.
Sir Stelios Hadjioannou said the awards aim to give young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their ideas and receive financial support during the early stages of their businesses.
He encouraged young people to take risks and pursue their ideas while they have the opportunity to shape their future.
Applications open until 15 October
Applications for the Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus 2026 opened on 1 September and will remain open until 15 October 2026.
Candidate interviews will be held online, while the awards ceremony is scheduled for 10 November 2026, when Sir Stelios Hadjioannou will present the prizes.
