Weather to change from tomorrow – Rain and thunderstorms on the way

Seasonal low pressure is affecting the area, with weather change expected to develop gradually over the coming days.

Today, increased high cloud will be observed. Winds will initially be variable and light at 3 Beaufort, locally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, before gradually becoming southwesterly to northwesterly at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Winds may reach 4 to 5 Beaufort locally along the southern coast in the afternoon.

The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 36°C inland, 30°C on the west coast, 33°C on the remaining coasts and 27°C in the highest mountains.

Tonight, skies will remain mainly clear, although low cloud and light fog or fog may develop later, mainly in eastern areas. Winds will become mainly northwesterly to northeasterly and light, up to 3 Beaufort. The sea will remain slightly rough.

Temperatures will fall to around 18°C inland, 21°C on the coast and 16°C in the highest mountains.

Rain and thunderstorms from Thursday

On Wednesday afternoon, locally increased cloud is expected to bring isolated showers to mountainous areas and possibly parts of the interior.

On Thursday, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in mountainous areas and the interior. Localised rain and isolated thunderstorms are forecast on Friday.

The weather change will also bring a drop in temperatures. No significant change is expected on Wednesday, but temperatures will fall through Friday and are expected to remain below the average climatic values.
