Hit-and-run leaves scooter rider critically injured

A road crash in Limassol has left an unidentified man in critical condition after a collision involving a personal mobility device and a car on Sunday night.

The crash occurred at around 10:45pm on Solonos Street, when the electric personal mobility device being driven by the man collided with a vehicle.

The driver of the car left the scene following the collision.

Police seek information

The injured man was taken by ambulance to a private hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police are appealing to anyone who knows anything about the circumstances of the collision or can help identify the vehicle and its driver to contact the Limassol Traffic Police Department on 25805244, the nearest police station, or the Citizen’s Line at 1460.

Investigation continues

The Limassol Traffic Police Department is continuing investigations into the incident.
